October 7-9th in Segovia, Spain.
SPIRE 2019 is the 26th International Symposium on String Processing and Information Retrieval. SPIRE started in 1993 as the South American Workshop on String Processing and was held in Latin America until 2000 when SPIRE travelled to Europe and was held A Coruña, Spain. Nineteen years have gone, and SPIRE is back to Spain, this time allowing attendees to visit Segovia, a beautiful historical city located very close to Madrid that was declared World Heritage City by UNESCO in 1985.
We look forward to greeting you in Segovia in October 2019. SPIRE will take place from Monday October 7th to Wednesday October 9th, with the 14th Workshop on Compression, Text and Algorithms (WCTA 2019) on Thursday October 10th.
As in past editions, the proceedings of SPIRE 2019 were published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. See: «https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-030-32686-9»
Limited-time free access to the proceedings (LNCS 11811) is no longer available from here.

Welcome to Segovia!
